Job Description:
As the Manager of Transfer Pricing at Johnson Controls, you will
play a pivotal role in shaping the transfer pricing strategies and
policies to support our global operations in smart building
technologies. In this crucial position, you will leverage your
expertise to ensure compliance with international tax laws and
regulations, while aligning with our mission to enhance building
efficiency, sustainability, and security worldwide. Your strategic
insight will directly influence financial practices that underpin
our innovation-driven, customer-focused company culture. Develop
and implement transfer pricing policies and strategies consistent
with global tax laws and regulations. Prepare and review
documentation for internal and external compliance in various
jurisdictions. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams,
including finance, legal, and business units, to gather necessary
input on transactions and align transfer pricing practices with
business strategies. Manage transfer pricing audits and inquiries
by tax authorities, including developing defense strategies and
negotiating resolutions. Analyze financial data to ensure that
transfer prices are set according to arm’s length standards. Stay
updated with changes in transfer pricing regulations and adjust
policies as necessary to maintain compliance. Lead, train, and
mentor team members within the transfer pricing function, enhancing
their skills and engagement. Strong analytical and problem-solving
skills Expertise in international tax and transfer pricing
regulations Proficient in financial modeling and analysis Excellent
communication and negotiation skills Adept at managing
cross-functional projects and teams Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
or similar certification Accreditation from Chartered Institute of
Taxation (CIOT) or similar is recommended but not required
