Investor Relations Manager - Chicago, IL In office presence
required Job Summary The Manager, Investor Relations will play a
critical role within the Investor Relations function, reporting
directly to the Director, Investor Relations. This role is
responsible for managing the Company’s core Investor Relations
strategy and operating cadence, including quarterly earnings,
investor communications, analyst engagement, and investor events.
The Manager will serve as a key integrator across finance, legal,
corporate communications, sustainability, and senior leadership,
ensuring clear, consistent, and credible messaging to the
investment community. This position requires strong communication
skills, financial acumen, attention to detail, and stakeholder
management, as well as the ability to anticipate investor needs and
continuously enhance IR processes, tools, and analytics. Key
Responsibilities Investor Relations Strategy & Planning: Partner
with the Director, Investor Relations to develop and execute the
Company’s Investor Relations strategy, aligning external messaging
with corporate strategy, operational priorities, and long-term
value creation objectives. Proactively assess market sentiment,
investor feedback, and peer positioning to inform messaging,
disclosure strategy, and engagement priorities. Manage the ongoing
evolution of Investor Relations processes, deliverables, and
technologies to enhance effectiveness, transparency, and
efficiency. Earnings & Financial Communications: Manage the
end-to-end planning and coordination of the quarterly earnings
cycle, including earnings releases, prepared remarks, investor
presentations, Q&A development, and related SEC filings. Act as
a central point of coordination across finance, legal,
communications, and executive leadership to ensure accuracy,
consistency, and compliance across all investor-facing disclosures.
Drive continuous improvement in earnings materials and narratives
to clearly articulate performance drivers, risks, and outlook.
Cross-Functional Partnership Collaborate closely with corporate
communications, financial reporting, legal, sustainability, and
financial analysis and planning teams to ensure integrated and
aligned external communications. Support executive preparation for
investor interactions, earnings calls, conferences, and other
high-visibility engagements. Investor & Analyst Engagement Manage
planning and execution of the Company’s participation in sell-side
conferences, non-deal roadshows, investor days, one-on-one
meetings, and site visits. Play a central role in building and
maintaining strong relationships with sell-side analysts and
institutional investors. Manage process to identify, engage, and
retain a high-quality investor base through ownership analysis,
peer benchmarking, and targeted investor outreach. Market
Intelligence, Analytics & Process Ownership Own analyst consensus
management, including forecasting analysis, variance tracking, and
communication of market expectations to senior leadership. Enhance
and automate IR analytics and reporting to ensure timely, accurate,
and accessible insights into market expectations, ownership trends,
and peer performance. Monitor market developments, competitive
dynamics, and regulatory changes to proactively inform IR strategy
and leadership discussions. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s
degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a
related field. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven IR experience in
an operationally complex global organization. Demonstrated ability
to manage complex processes, multiple stakeholders, and tight
deadlines in a high-visibility environment. Exceptional written and
verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex
financial and operational topics into clear, compelling investor
messaging. Detail-oriented with intellectual curiosity and ability
to work efficiently while maintaining high quality results.
Preferred MBA, CFA, or CPA designation Experience in agriculture
industry, food and beverage manufacturing, and/or consumer staples
