Tuesday – Friday | On-Site About the Role Our Savior Lutheran
Church is a multi-generational community of believers dedicated to
sharing God’s love. We are seeking an Office Administrator to serve
as the operational backbone of our church office and facility. This
role ensures our office runs efficiently while providing
exceptional service and guidance to our members and guests. Key
Responsibilities Office & Worship Support - Communications: Serve
as the professional main point of contact for telephone calls and
onsite visitors. - Administrative Support: Format and print
correspondence for Pastor and Church Leadership; manage office mail
and off-site post office runs. - Records Management: Maintain
up-to-date files for memberships, baptisms, attendance, and weekly
services. - Worship Preparation: Create weekly church bulletins
using Lutheran Service Builder; prepare special bulletins for
Baptisms, Confirmations, Weddings, and Funerals. - Digital
Management: Manage Planning Center profiles, the church website,
and facility use calendars. - Volunteer Coordination: Recruit and
schedule worship and altar ministry volunteers. - Procurement:
Order office supplies and manage maintenance for all office
machinery. Facility & Systems Management - Facility Oversight:
Obtain quotes for repairs, schedule regular inspections, and
oversee external maintenance contracts (lawn, snow, and tree
service). - Audio/Visual (A/V): Ensure all weekly A/V needs are
met; troubleshoot equipment and coordinate A/V personnel. -
Presentation Software: Maintain ProPresenter software and
coordinate volunteers who create slides for Worship services. -
Systems Administration: Manage the telephone, burglar alarm, and
door access systems. Qualifications Required - 2 to 4 years of
successful administrative experience. - Excellent communication and
relationship-building skills. - Strong organizational skills with a
disciplined approach to follow-through. - High attention to detail
and a process-oriented mindset. - A professional, persistent
"servant mindset." Preferred - Experience with Church Planning
Center. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. - A
background in facility management and knowledge of presentation
software (ProPresenter). Compensation & Benefits - Salary: $20/hr.
