  YOUR ROLE:
  Manage day-to-day operations of your school photography hub. Paid training, NO PHOTO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! Bring your awesome leadership skills and we will train you on the rest! While this role is considered remote, you must live in the Naperville, IL area to support local events if needed.
  School Photography Operations:
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Ensure school picture day events are well staffed with the appropriate number of photographers
    
    
  • 
    Ensure all details of each photo day event are clear to assigned photographers and school contacts through ongoing communication
    
    
  • 
    Attend/lead weekly, virtual team meetings
    
    
  • 
    Research and determine centralized storage location for photography equipment
    
    
  • 
    Receive, organize, and assign all photography equipment to photographers
    
    
  • 
    Collect all photography equipment at the end of the season
    
    
    Employee Management:
    
    • 
      
    • 
      Schedule photographers and manage school assignments
      
      
    • 
      Provide clear communication of expectations to photographers and ensure adherence of JostensPIX standards and attendance
      
      
    • 
      Partner with HR to conduct interviews and hire all photographers
      
      
      Photography Execution:
      
      • 
        
      • 
        Understand and execute JostensPIX photography in a technical and practical way
        
        
      • 
        Oversee hotel reservations for photographer travel (as needed)
        
        
        Training:
        
        • 
          
        • 
          Participate in pre-season "Train the Trainer" sessions (in-person and/or virtual as applicable)
          
          
        • 
          Provide ongoing training and answer photographer questions throughout the season
          
          
          YOUR SKILLS:
          
          • 
            
          • 
            Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with others at all levels within the organization
            
            
          • 
            Demonstrated people management and leadership skill
            
            
          • 
            Extremely organized with a high attention to detail
            
            
          • 
            Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
            
            
          • 
            Availability to work early mornings and late nights as applicable
            
            
          • 
            Comfortable working with computers and ability to learn new programs
            
            
          • 
            Excellent analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills
            
            
          • 
            Comfortable working in a school environment with children of all ages and abilities
            
            
          • 
            Grooming and demeanor appropriate for role and Jostens' corporate image
            
            
          • 
            Valid US driver's license and reliable, insured car (use of public transportation is not permitted)
            
            
          • 
            Ability to travel within HUB territory
            
            
          • 
            Reliable, consistent cell phone (US) and internet access
            
            
          • 
            Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education, customer service, and general business experience
