School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school
district in Aurora, IL is seeking a qualified School Psychologist
to support an elementary school on a contract basis for the current
school year. This role offers an opportunity to apply your
expertise in psychology to help foster student success within a
collaborative educational environment. Key Responsibilities: -
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for
students - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators
to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) - Provide
counseling and crisis intervention to support students' emotional
and behavioral needs - Monitor student progress and adjust
interventions as necessary - Participate in multidisciplinary team
meetings and provide input on student placement and services -
Assist in planning and implementing school-wide strategies for
positive behavior support Qualifications: - Masters or Doctoral
degree in School Psychology or a related field - Valid Illinois
School Psychologist license or certification - Experience working
in an elementary school setting preferred - Strong assessment and
diagnostic skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal
abilities - Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students,
and families Location: Aurora, Illinois (Elementary School) This
