Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This special education teaching opportunity is based in
an elementary school setting in Des Plaines, IL. The contract
position follows the school calendar year (CSY) and requires onsite
commitment with a 37.5-hour workweek. The role involves managing a
caseload of 20-40 students in grades K5, including those with
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), cerebral palsy, and various
learning disabilities. Instruction is delivered primarily through a
push-in model, supporting students within the general education
classroom. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction
tailored to the individual needs of students with disabilities
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and
support staff to provide inclusive education Monitor and document
student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary
Communicate regularly with families regarding student development
and goals Qualifications: Valid Illinois Professional Educator
License (PEL) with Special Education certification Experience
working with elementary-aged students with ASD, cerebral palsy, and
learning disabilities preferred Ability to effectively manage a
caseload between 20-40 students Strong collaboration and
