Data Analytic Engineer SGE Marketing Services Inc. is seeking a talented and self-motivated individual to become an integral part of our IT team. The Data Analytic Engineer is a full-time position located in Naperville, IL with possible option to work remotely, occasionally reporting to the office as requested. Under the direction of the director of information technology, this individual is a highly motivated, detail-oriented data analytics engineer with excellent Microsoft SQL skills as well as experience working with large datasets, report development, and complex data models. The position will participate in a wide variety of analytic efforts, including the development and support of custom, end user facing reports and dashboards under a Microsoft Business Intelligence platform. A strong candidate will have experience designing and producing data structures optimized for gleaning reporting insights. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise and departmental business intelligence, data warehousing and reporting solutions.
• Design and develop data file extracts in accordance with file specifications using SQL, excel, and database tools
• Interact with stakeholders and business owners to define and document report development specifications.
• Execute a design of data ETL process (including, documentation and flow charts)
• Develop and implement reports and queries to drive business processes.
• Provide technical and business knowledge support to the team
• Identify gaps and weaknesses in our data stack and continues to drive learning advancements for the team
• Perform a variety of regularly scheduled monthly, quarterly, and annual business intelligence procedures and report generation.
• Participate in data audits and validate data from various data sources to ensure data integrity and quality. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
  • 3+ years related working experience in data engineering, report development, or data analytics
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL and reporting building concept
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft BI technology (SSRS, SSIS, Power BI)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
