Tisora Group is actively seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our client's product development team in Warrenville, IL. This organization is a full-service product development group specializing in designing products for industrial and commercial customers. This includes Fortune 500 companies to start-ups. The team is made up of industrial designs, mechanical engineers, electronic hardware engineers and embedded firmware engineers. They are authorized design consultants for STMicroelectronics and Microchip. As well as world renowned Solidworks experts.Responsibilities:* Manage all mechanical engineering aspects for new product development from inception through prototype phase* Main point of contact for customers throughout the entire lifecycle of project including gathering product specifications, design approval and manufacturing needs* Create tool ready engineering drawings and bill of materials* Build prototypes using manual lathes, mills, welding stations and 3D printer* Perform engineering calculations and FEA for stress and strain analysis, deformation, tolerance stack ups, cycle fatigue and heat transferRequirements:* Engineering Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Technology or similar with 2+ years of experience* Must be passionate about design* Ability to create 3D models within Solidworks, Autocad Inventor, or Pro-E* Ability to perform engineering calculations and FEA including basic force load transfer, stress and strain, deformation, tolerance stack ups, ccle fatigue and thermodynamics / heat transfer* Hands on prototyping experience (exposure to machine shop is ideal; manual mills, lathes, band saws, wood working, etc.)* Time management
