Role Summary:
An exciting entry-level opportunity for new or recent graduates to
gain high level project management skills working with the
state-of-the-art INNOMAG product family of fluoropolymer-lined
sealless magnetic drive pumps. In this role, you will support the
acquisition and fulfillment process of Engineered to Order (ETO)
purchase orders. Working remotely under the direction of the site
Product Specialist Supervisor, the Engineer will:
Responsibilities:
Manage incoming purchase orders from engineering firms, direct
customers, and distributors that are deemed project orders.
Release project orders to manufacturing after ensuring they are
clear, accurate, properly reflect customer intent, and fully
satisfy all commercial and technical requirements.
Communicate to all concerned parties project milestones, status
updates, as well as any existing or potential customer escalation
issues.
Ensure order execution by coordinating documentation, inspections,
and compliance, collaborating effectively with other functions.
Demonstrate ownership and accountability for total project
execution (project initiation to project completion).
Attend initial kick off meeting as well as all necessary calls with
customer once project order is received.
Create high-quality customer-facing documentation and records in
the format the customer requires.
Submit documentation to customers as per their submission
requirements (email, portal, etc.).
Review technical, commercial, and documentation specifications
during the quoting phase to verify if we can meet the customers'
requirements.
Create detailed comments/exceptions lists to the customer's project
specifications including managing multiple rounds of clarifications
with the customer.
Attend customer calls with the Sales Engineer to answer technical
product questions during the quoting phase of the project.
Additional related duties deemed appropriate by manager.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related
engineering degree.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English,
including the ability to generate professional technical
documentation intended to communicate information to various
audiences.
Ability to use Windows operating system and basic proficiency using
Microsoft Excel and related applications.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to manage several projects and ongoing tasks at once.
Ability and drive to learn, grow, and adapt as new challenges and
opportunities present. themselves in an innovative and fast-paced
environment.
Ability and drive to identify risks, gaps, improvements, or
problems within processes or products and take a key role in
addressing as necessary.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
Experience using SolidWorks
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VBA and advanced tools
Experience with ERP systems to support manufacturing and logistics
operations
Experience using Microsoft Outlook
Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and/or
written specifications
Experience with operating pumps or similar related experience
Experience with relevant industry standards including HI and ASME
standards for the design, construction, and testing of centrifugal
pumps
Familiarity with manufacturing processes we perform in-house such
as assembly, industrial painting, packaging, machining, injection
molding, rotolining/rotomolding, composite fiber/resin processing,
plastic welding.
Ability to communicate in written or spoken Polish
