This role is is responsible for training, development, and continuous improvement in the site sanitation program. What this role is about: Oversee the scheduling and coordination of all Master Sanitation Schedule activities in the facility including SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure) development and validation. Work with Production Supervisors, Managers and hourly employees to maximize department efficiency and drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross functional teams from Corporate Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Maintenance' representing the Sanitation department and providing technical input. Oversee environmental and pathogen monitoring programs, monitor programs closely for compliance and develop actions for continuous improvement. Primary responsibility for the pest control program, waste management program, utility chemicals, and supporting QA/QC on the environmental monitoring program at the site. Order and maintain inventory of facility operating supplies including sanitation chemicals, safety equipment, PPE, Janitorial supplies and cleaning equipment. Evaluate supplier performance, adherence to commitments per contract and address nonperformance. Perform cleaning and sanitation duties as needed. Schedule: Mondays to Fridays 8 AM to 4 PM, with occasional weekends as needed. What you need to join our team: Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biological Science or related field required. Minimum three (3) years of sanitation experience in food manufacturing industry required. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered. Apply today!
