Shift Maintenance Technician III - 2nd Shift Location: Lockport, IL
Work Shift: 3pm-11pm Position Overview The Maintenance Technician
III is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of machinery
and equipment within the facility. This role involves performing
advanced maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and providing
technical support to improve the efficiency and reliability of
production processes. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and
corrective maintenance on injection molding machines and related
equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical
issues to minimize downtime. Conduct installations and upgrades of
machinery as needed. Utilize PLC systems for monitoring and
optimizing equipment performance. Maintain accurate maintenance
records and documentation. Collaborate with engineering and
production teams to identify and resolve equipment issues. Train
junior technicians on maintenance procedures and safety practices.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree
or certification preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in
maintenance, specifically with injection molding machinery. Strong
knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. Familiarity with
PLC programming and troubleshooting is a plus. Ability to read and
interpret technical manuals and schematics. Excellent
problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong
