Job Description:
Waste Management, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Solid Waste
Engineer II to join our dedicated team. This role focuses on
developing and managing projects and solutions related to solid
waste processing, including landfill management, recycling
initiatives, and renewable energy projects. This position offers
the opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects in waste and
environmental services, contributing significantly to
sustainability initiatives at one of North America's leading waste
management firms. Develop engineering plans and designs for solid
waste disposal systems in compliance with federal and state
regulations. Oversee and manage landfill operations, ensuring
environmental safety and efficiency. Collaborate with
cross-functional teams to create sustainable waste management
solutions. Conduct technical evaluations to improve existing waste
processing techniques. Prepare and review technical reports,
documents, and drawings. Manage project timelines, budgets, and
resource allocation effectively. Stay updated with the latest
trends in waste management technology and regulations. Proficiency
in waste management and environmental compliance. Strong project
management and organizational skills. Excellent analytical and
problem-solving abilities. Advanced knowledge of CAD software and
MS Office. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. Certification in
Project Management (PMP) is an advantage.
