Our client, a leading organization in HVAC testing and mechanical systems, is seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician 1 to join their team. As an Electro Mechanical Technician 1, you will be part of the Mechanical Test Lab supporting testing, data collection, and maintenance of HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on mechanical experience, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Electro Mechanical Technician 1 Location: Buffalo Grove, IL Shift: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm What's the Job? Assist and facilitate test plans on HVAC components and systems Maintain preventative maintenance plans for lab equipment and flow loop systems Perform testing, data collection, and troubleshooting on customized test setups Use hand tools for assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of test equipment Ensure safety standards are followed and complete safety inspections What's Needed? High school education or equivalent Hands-on experience with mechanical tools and equipment Ability to troubleshoot and maintain test equipment Basic computer skills including data entry and email communication Knowledge of HVAC systems and familiarity with mechanical testing is a plus What's in it for me?
