Job Description:
Golden Bear Packaging Inc., a leader in innovative and
sustainable packaging solutions, is seeking a Maintenance Assistant
to join our Engineering and Maintenance team. This role is pivotal
in supporting the daily operations by maintaining the optimum
functionality of our machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate
will assist in routine inspections, perform preventive maintenance,
and ensure all manufacturing tools adhere to set safety standards
while maintaining a clean and efficient production area. By joining
our team, you will contribute to streamlining production processes
in industries that range from food to electronics, all within an
environment focused on sustainability and efficiency. Perform
routine and scheduled maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Assist in troubleshooting issues and carry out necessary repairs in
a timely manner. Follow safety regulations and procedures to
maintain a safe work environment. Keep detailed records of
maintenance operations and report any major issues to the
engineering team. Support machine setups and adjustments for
optimal functioning and efficiency. Participate in the installation
of new plant equipment. Practical knowledge of mechanical and
electrical systems. Ability to work with power tools and
maintenance equipment. Strong problem-solving skills. Effective
communication and teamwork capabilities. Basic computer skills for
maintaining digital records. Certified Maintenance and Reliability
Technician (CMRT) preferred.
