Job Description Job Description Maintenance Technician (1st Shift) Location: Chicago Schedule: First Shift (approximately 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.), Monday–Friday Compensation: $28–$32/hour (select candidates considered up to $35/hour) Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 months), potential for permanent placement Openings: 1 Start Date: ASAP A local windows-and-doors manufacturing organization is seeking a maintenance technician to join its team. Position Overview The Maintenance Technician will support all installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair activities within the manufacturing facility. This is a multicraft role, approximately 70% mechanical and 30% electrical work. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment uptime, performing preventative maintenance, and documenting maintenance activities using basic computer systems.
