Job DescriptionSummaryThe Associate Institutional Portfolio
Manager (Associate IPM) is accountable for managing assigned client
relationships and supporting the Institutional Portfolio Management
Team. The Associate IPM will also be responsible for supporting the
firm's GIPS processes, building and reviewing pre-trade compliance
rules, managing client data in Clearwater and other systems,
preparing LGIP board books and other presentations, and supporting
the firm's sales staff on new client acquisition efforts as
assigned by the IPM Team Lead. Essential FunctionsClient Service –
Associate IPM will assist IPM Team members with a variety of
functions related to the retention and growth of existing clients.
Primary responsibilities include effectively and efficiently
onboarding new clients and preparing meeting materials. Other
responsibilities include ongoing dialogue with client and IPM Team
to implement customized investment solutions, communicating with
clients and IPM Team members to solve client questions, documenting
client information in CRM, and ensuring investment solution is
consistent and compliant with stated goals and applicable policies.
Develop and support monthly client reporting. Data Support –
Coordinate with the IPM Team to ensure client data is current in
all systems including the management of custom field data in
Clearwater Analytics. Support internal reporting needs for
management and marketing related to client / account types and
assets under management. Assist with the building and review of
pre-trade compliance rules in Bloomberg and Clearwater. Marketing
Support – Work closely with sales team to support new business
initiatives including the analysis of new client portfolios and
assisting in the completion of request for proposal (RFP)
responses. Prepare materials for business finals as needed. Update
quarterly fact sheets for composites and other products. Assist in
development of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and other assigned
investment commentary. Speak and attend business related
conferences/events as assigned. Portfolio Management – Work closely
with IPM Team and Research PM's to ensure portfolio solution meets
and/or exceeds client expectations. Articulate clear portfolio
strategy to clients. Ensure portfolio is in compliance with all
relevant policies and statutory requirements. Develop portfolio
dashboard information on a monthly basis for review by PM team.
Performance Analysis – Assist in the support and maintenance of the
firm's GIPS processes, policies and procedures. Maintain account
and composite data in all applicable systems including Wilshire.
Effectively analyze portfolio pricing and performance in support of
the firm's Pricing and GIPS Committees. Management – Support Team
Lead, IPM Team accountabilities as requested. Develop desk
procedures to support IPM accountabilities including client
onboarding and communication protocol.Education and/or
Experience3-10 years of relevant portfolio management, research or
client service experience. MBA PreferredChartered Financial Analyst
or Progress PreferredStrong Written and Verbal Communication
