Position
We will be opening a new office in the Naperville area. Once the office is open this will be a hybrid position with at least two or three days in office. Until then it will be remote.As a member of our commercial insurance sales team, you will develop marketing strategies for key accounts by leading the team in strategic planning for growth of the company. You must have excellent interpersonal communication, time management skills, and thorough understanding of marketing strategies and practices. • Working closely with seasoned Account Managers and Account Executives (producers) to identify and implement the most effective marketing strategy for new and renewal accounts.
• Manage submission flow to our insurance company partners to develop effective carrier brokerage service offerings for existing clients.
• Develop and execute a strategic plan to expand an effective carrier brokerage service offerings and identify potential markets.
• Develops information and recommendations for prospective accounts, presents sales proposals, and adheres to agency policies and procedures for writing a new account.
• Provide insurance counseling, giving advice on coverage levels, insurance types, explaining terms, etc.

    • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required; Masters degree preferred.
    • At least five years of experience in marketing and long-range planning required.
    • Understand various market appetites in the commercial property & casualty insurance industry.
      • Strong Knowledge in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, and basic technology.
      • Interpersonal communication skills, capable of high volumes of communication streams to keep good working relationships with team members.
      • Occasional travel may be required.

        • While experience in the transportation insurance sector is preferred it is not required.Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PMIn office required 2-3 days a week.
