GCG Financial, LLC is seeking a top-performing benefits
technology leader to serve as a Manager, Benefit Technology
Implementation to our Employee Benefits team. This person must
excel in providing the best-in-class benefits technology service
and team leadership to our team and clients while working
collaboratively with Account Executives, Benefit Consultants, and
client service team members enterprise wide.As a Manager of Benefit
Technology Implementation, you will be an integral part of the
employee benefits technology team, leading a team to ensure a
successful client experience for client implementations. This role
will be hands on as an individual contributor and leading a team.
The position will focus on client
implementations.Responsibilities
- Lead a team that delivers an exceptional client implementation
experience
- Ensure client needs are met on time with high quality
- Oversee execution of client
communications and ensure responsiveness and quality of response
are exceptional to deliver a consistent client experience
- Report monthly on team performance, feedback, and discuss
initiatives with leadership and regional stakeholders
- Train internal teams on new processes and/or functionalities
that impact overall operations
- Lead implementation strategy in support of enterprise shared
services
- Conduct capacity planning and oversee implementation pipeline
including distribution of implementation projects and additional
departmental project support
- Report on key performance metrics for team and individuals;
proactively identify improvements in processes or performance
- Review and generate monthly invoices
- Provide new client implementation support
- Serve as systems subject matter for clients and internal team
requests and ad-hoc trainings
- Test client sites to ensure proper functionality and
quality
- Ensure all processes adhere to HIPAA Compliance and all related
compliance procedures
- Identify and resolve client setup issues with the
implementation team, clients and internal stakeholders
- Import data into our systems as needed
- Prepare employee and employer communications
- Triage client concerns and/or questions (email and voicemail)
and provide next response tim
- Audit system data from various sources; produce reports
providing summary and details surrounding the audits
- Resolve data discrepancies between systems and external
vendors: insurance carriers, Third Party Administrators, and
payroll/HRIS systems
- Assist with ad hoc client requests
- Lead team projects as needed
- Work with internal departments and teams to ensure cohesiveness
and timeliness of service execution
- Take an enterprise-wide approach to client service by
collaborating with other service teams to create a cohesive client
service experienceQualifications
- Proficiency in Excel is required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum 4 years of professional client facing experience in
employee benefits
- Minimum 2 years of in a supervisory or project management
role
- Experience with benefit administration/HRIS systems or related
platform preferred
- Good written/verbal communication skills and the ability to
communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel;
ability to listen, clarify and respond well to questions
- High level of productivity, reliability, responsibility,
attendance, dependability, organization and
accuracy/thoroughness
- Strong troubleshooting skills for supporting web-based
applications
- Must possess a passion for teamwork, client service and
reaching business results through problem solving
- Reliable transportation required for travel within the
Chicagoland metropolitan area for in office meetings in Deerfield,
IL, Chicago, IL and Downers Grove, IL
