In late 1980, the company began passivating stainless steel and in 1981 purchased Fastener Sorting Corporation. Today, a recognized leader in the Metal Finishing and Fastener Sorting fields, SWD Inc. has over 200 employees and runs three shifts per day in its 165,000 sq. ft. facility just west of Chicago in Addison, Illinois.Note: SWD is a Drug-Free workplace. All job offers are contingent on successful completion of a Background Check, Drug Screen, and Pre-Employment Physical. -What We're Seeking:We are seeking a Waste Water Treatment and Chemistry Lab Manager. The primary function of this position is to supervise and manage laboratory operations and employees. This position is responsible for all laboratory operations related to the generation and communication of chemical testing results. This manager will also be responsible for our waste water treatment operations. This is a hands on position involving work in both our lab and on the floor of our metal finishing plant. -Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise laboratory operations to maintain quality and efficiency
• Ensure that all required equipment is in place and properly functioning
• Overall organization, housekeeping, maintenance, and space utilization of the laboratory
• Ensure that all quality control procedures and documentation are in compliance and up to date
• Ensuring that all our production lines are running at their optimum
• Oversee training of employees
• Authority to approve payroll hours, to write performance reviews and coaching of employees
• Must have strong people management skills and the ability to work with diverse teams.Qualifications:
  • BS degree in Chemistry or related field
  • Minimum of three years' experience in Manufacturing or related fieldSWD Benefits:
