Job Description:
Lovejoy, a business in the Timken family of brands, is hiring a
Manager, Marketing & Sales Support in Downers Grove, IL. The role
strengthens the Lovejoy Business Group by providing marketing
strategy recommendations resulting from quantitative and
qualitative analysis, project management and execution, and marcom
related contributions toward attaining growth objectives. The
position serves as point of contact for growth strategies and
projects derived from market-based data and/or focused on Lovejoy
global customers, products, and markets. The position analyzes and
presents key internal and external data to facilitate fact-based,
timely business decisions by management and key functional areas to
optimize business results. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:GLOBAL
MARKETING VISION & STRATEGY: Research, capture, process, interpret,
and communicate external data including market size, market growth,
and market share including economic market drivers and indicators,
industry investments, production trends, competitor activities and
pricing, competitiveness of product/price offering, customer
activity and environmental characteristics. Research, capture,
process, interpret, and communicate internal data including product
line sales, product line profitability/margins, and product
pricing/profitability. MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS LEADERSHIP: Lead
business growth projects including marketing campaigns, new product
launches, product enhancement launches, product/packaging changes,
and enforce brand compliance. Oversight, optimization, and
management of Lovejoy brand, brand assets, and credibility. Create
and execute integrated marketing communication plan and budget
including all print, digital and event channels while maximizing
ROI. CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE IMPROVEMENT: Lead projects related to
improved customer experience and increased ease of doing business
with Lovejoy. Set policies and create replicable and scalable
processes to improve department effectiveness and seed growth. Set
and implement merchandising strategy, customer segmentation, and
customer optimization/rationalization. Develop digital tools which
increase customers' ability to self-serve. BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
MANAGEMENT: Provide oversight and improve effectiveness of all
business administration and sales support functions such as
customer onboarding, customer data maintenance, price mechanism
(market price, contract pricing, incentives and rebates)
administration. Manage and develop direct reports.
