Hours Needed: Full TimeCompensation. Commensurate with
experience.We are one of Chicagoland's leading pelvic floor

pelvic concerns, and bring awareness to the challenging and complex
pelvic health issues people face in their everyday lives. -CPHW was
founded on the belief that a person's medical care should be
determined by the individual with input and guidance from their
medical care team, not by insurance companies. We chose to make our
patients' care the top priority. Our commitment to each patient is
a full hour treatment session in a private room with a Pelvic
Health DPT whose treatment philosophy is both holistic,
individualized, and assessing the pelvic floor as it relates to the

- Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association
(APTA) accredited school of physical therapy (Doctorate preferred)

- Valid Illinois State Physical Therapy License/ Registration

- Pelvic floor introduction course (Herman and Wallace, APTA, or
equivalent) -
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
required
- Preferred 1-3 years experience in a pelvic health setting
- Proficiency in evaluation and treatment of patients of diverse
diagnoses with ability to recognize and adjust to a patient's
response both physically and psychologically
- Must be capable of easily lifting fifty (50) pounds dead weight
alone
- Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a
work day/shift
- Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to evaluate,
diagnose & monitor patient needs, maintain accurate records, and
provide compound directions to our patient populationCommunication:
- An exceptional listener who communicates with empathy and
expertise
- Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give
complex directions
- Desire and ability to start lines of communication with
physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers in the care
of our patients and field of practice -
- Possess fine motor skills for legible and accurate reporting,
charting, scheduling, daily correspondence and presentations,
either manually or through use of electronic equipment
- Display an intuitive sense to listen to a patient's story and
concerns in order to respond to them in a way to develop empathy
and rapport
- Have a passion for engaging with and motivating a patient's
plan of care -
- Ability to pick up on the body language and social cues of our
patients and co-workers in order to provide a safe, respectful, and
trusting environmentPhysical Standards:
- Ability to lift patients using appropriate biomechanical
techniques frequently throughout the course of a work
day/shift
- Possess fine motor skills for effective and efficient handling
of diagnostic/therapeutic equipment and manual therapy for
patients
- Ability to assist physically challenged/handicapped personsWork
