Department: Allergy, Asthma & Immunology

Position: RN, Allergy Triage

Position Status: Full-time, 40 hours a week

Position location: Duly Health and Care Medical Office Building 808 Rickert Dr. Naperville, IL

Workdays: Monday through Friday- no weekends or closed on observed holidays

Position Hours: 7:45 am to 4:15 pm

The role clinically supports our continually growing multi-site practice for seven Allergy, Asthma & Immunology physicians across our nine locations.

The RN, Allergy Triage role should demonstrate professionalism, sound clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, assessment skills, good active listening and communication skills, and document in the EMR thoroughly to the appropriate party in a timely manner for our wide-spanning patient population.

Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

* Triage patients over the phone using our Five9 Cloud technology
* Triage physician messages following the standardized departmental documentation and triage protocols
* Arrange and manage inventory, ordering, shipment, and delivery for specialty medications and Biologic therapies via Specialty Pharmacy or Buy and Bill
* Obtain Prior Authorizations for Biologics and other medications
* Refill medications
* Report test results
* Phone Triage using Five9 Cloud technology
* Patient education and teaching
* Coordinate scheduling of Specialty Testing and Challenges for Food/Oral, Drug, Venom, Pulmonary Stress Test Treadmill, Peanut, Patch

Additional Responsibilities

* Participates in professional development and continuing education based on licensure requirements regulated by IDFPR
* Attends CPR training bi-annually
* Mandatory annual compliance training
* Attends all regular mandatory meetings

Qualifications

Qualifications

* EMR EPIC and MAR experience is a plus
* Registered Nurse, RN ADN/BSN one-year experience preferred
* New graduates welcome to apply
* Current and unencumbered Illinois RN license
* BLS/CPR
* ACLS/PALS/TNS/ Allergy Immunology Credentialing is a plus
* Prior work experience in an outpatient Allergy, Asthma & Immunology setting is a plus
* Prolonged periods of sitting and repetitive use of hands
* Flexible to scheduling changes, including overtime
