Radiology Tech - Limited LicenseGENERAL SUMMARY: Operates a variety of radiology equipment to produce limited radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes as directed by the Radiologists, in accordance to established protocols.# Assists physicians and other clinical staff with obtaining films, images, and other records using the Radiology PACS or hospital information systems.# Explains procedure to patients, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.# Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects of job. # LOCATION:##Edward Hospital - main campus # HOURS:# PRN/Registry # REQUIREMENTS: Required Education, Skills and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED Completed the first year of an accredited radiology program Knowledge of all current American College of Radiology(ACR)/JCAHO requirements to maintain compliance with all rules and regulations # Required Licenses/Certifications: IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) limited licensure or #notice of IEMA compliance and authorization to perform medical radiation# Current CPR Certification issued by either the American Heart Association or Red Cross

REQUIREMENTS:

Required Education, Skills and/or Experience:

* High School Diploma or GED
* Completed the first year of an accredited radiology program
* Knowledge of all current American College of Radiology(ACR)/JCAHO requirements to maintain compliance with all rules and regulations

Required Licenses/Certifications:

* IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) limited licensure or "notice of IEMA compliance and authorization to perform medical radiation"
* Current CPR Certification issued by either the American Heart Association or Red Cross
