Radiology Tech# General Summary: Operates a variety of radiology equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes as directed by the Radiologists, in accordance to established protocols.# Assists physicians and other clinical staff with obtaining films, images, and other records using the Radiology PACS or hospital information systems.# Explains procedure to patients, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.# Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects of job. # Location: Edward Hospital, 801 S. Washington, Naperville, IL 60540 # Hours: 8:30pm to 7:00am, every other Saturday and Sunday # Required: High School Diploma or GED IEMA licensure or #notice of IEMA compliance and authorization to perform medical radiation# At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT(R) certification (i.e., Certificate of Program Completion or a letter from the Radiology Program Director of the accredited school.). Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross # Preferred: A minimum of an Associate#s Degree or higher #

Hours: 8:30pm to 7:00am, every other Saturday and Sunday

Required:

* High School Diploma or GED
* IEMA licensure or "notice of IEMA compliance and authorization to perform medical radiation"
* At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT(R) certification (i.e., Certificate of Program Completion or a letter from the Radiology Program Director of the accredited school.).
