Job DescriptionThe Corporate Health, Safety, and Security
Specialist will play a critical role in developing, implementing,
and overseeing policies and programs that promote a safe and secure
work environment across all our locations. This position requires a
strategic thinker with a proactive approach to safety management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and
safety, coupled with a passion for fostering a culture of safety
and responsibility within the organization.-------------- Job is an
individual contributor.-------------- Job is an individual
contributor and has no direct reports.-------------- Develop and
implement comprehensive safety and security programs and
initiatives.-------------- Conduct regular safety audits, risk
assessments, and inspections across various locations to ensure
compliance with local, state, and federal
regulations.-------------- Serve as a point of contact for health
and safety matters across the company.-------------- Collaborate
with management and cross-functional teams to integrate safety and
security considerations into daily operations.-------------- Travel
to company locations in the Chicago land area, Utah, California,
and Iowa to implement and oversee safety programs (Travel required
25%). Illinois based.-------------- Stay informed on new
legislation and advancements in safety and security technologies
and trends, applying best practices to company policies and
procedures.-------------- This role has the responsibility to
understand and places in practice appropriate safety procedures.--
This responsibility is achieved through education, training, use of
protective equipment (as applicable) and by following safety
policies, regulations, standards, and laws. Perform other duties as
assignedRequired Skills-------------- 1-3 years of experience in
related field is preferred.-------------- Strong understanding of
safety regulations and standards.-------------- Excellent
proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.--------------
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.--------------
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability
to train and motivate staff.Proficiency in safety management
systems and compliance tracking.--------------
BA/BS or equivalent is required.-------------- Preferred
certifications: Graduate Safety Professional (GSP) or Associate
Safety Professional (ASP).--------------
Work is generally performed within a business professional office
environment, with standard office equipment
available.--------------
Work conditions are typical of an office
environment.--------------
This role requires 30% domestic travel.-------------- Position may
require the physical agility of lifting up to 15
pounds-------------- Ability to travel 25% of the time to company
locations in the Chicago land area, Utah, California, and
Iowa.-------------- Position may require frequent and/or infrequent
of bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use
hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and
standing/walking on concrete flooring.-------------- Position may
require the physical ability to stand/walk for Less than 4
