Hourly Pay Range: $57.69 - $75.77 - The hourly pay rate offered
is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience,
among other factors. Job Description: Exciting opportunity for a PA
to join our surgical oncology team in Naperville and Elmhurst, IL.
This PA will practice along the continuum of care to support one of
our surgical oncologists. This is a hybrid role with surgery,
in-patient, and office-based job duties. We are currently
recruiting for two full-time PAs to work with our surgical
oncologist. Under the direction of a physician, provides surgical
oncology care to patients including first assist in the OR. Obtains
detailed history and performs physical examinations, orders
imaging, lab tests and diagnostic procedures and interprets
results. Instructs patients on the prescribed therapeutic regimen
and pre/post operative instructions. Maintains records and writes
progress notes on status, treatments and procedures. Collaborates
with physicians and the health care team to achieve optimal patient
outcomes. Develops a comprehensive plan of care that includes
interventions and treatments. Prescribes pharmacologic and
non-pharmacologic therapies as appropriate. Demonstrates
evidence-based practice. Participates in the development,
implementation, and evaluation of standards of practice in the
specialty. Provides staff education as indicated. Participates in
the development, implementation, and evaluation of service line
goals. Supports the strategic plan of the organization. Adheres to
all Endeavor Health policies and procedures. Position Highlights:
Position: Surgical Oncology PA Location: Elmhurst Hospital
(Elmhurst, IL) and Edward Hospital (Naperville, IL). Full time.
Hours: 7A-4P Monday-Friday, rotating weekend rounding.
Consideration would also be given to four, 10 hour shifts rather
than Monday-Friday. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a
candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
What you will need: PAs – NCCPA certification required. New grads
and experienced candidates are welcome to apply. Current IL PA
license, current IL PA controlled substance license, current DEA
