Operating Room expertise awaits in Cicero, IL, at a renowned Level
1 Trauma Center. This contract role offers a full 40-hour workweek
with a consistent schedule of five 8-hour day shifts, from 10:00 AM
to 6:30 PM, ensuring work-life balance. The position includes a
call requirement of one 12-hour shift per month on weekends,
accommodating personal time while supporting facility needs. This
role requires a commitment to flexibility as floating within the
facility is mandatory to meet patient care demands. Key
Qualifications and Experience: Current RN licensure with a minimum
of 2 years recent acute care experience in the OR Proven Level 1
Trauma experience with strong scrub and circulate skills
Comprehensive experience in Orthopedics, Orthopedic Trauma,
Vascular, Urology, and General Surgery Preferred skills in
Neurosurgery (cranial and spinal), Open Heart/Thoracic,
Ophthalmology, ENT, Bariatric, and Gynecology BLS certification is
required Candidates must reside within 75 miles; local applicants
strongly preferred Primary Responsibilities: Deliver expert
perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced trauma environment
Collaborate with surgical teams in various specialties to ensure
patient safety and care quality Flexibly float to different units
within the facility as assigned Maintain high standards of
documentation utilizing Cerner electronic charting Facility
