working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Interventional
Radiology RN in Chicago, Illinois, 60612! Job Title: Registered
Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Interventional Radiology
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8 hours (15:30 -
00:00) Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS,
ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Must-Have: Staff required to wear lead
Description: Position involves RN Pain Management and
Interventional Radiology. Shifts are 5x8, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. No
block scheduling is available. On-call rotation is assigned on a
weekly basis from Monday to Friday, 12 AM to 8 AM. Call
requirements include weekends and holidays for 24 hours. All nurses
participate in the on-call rotation. No holidays are required
except for on-call duty. Occasional weekend day shifts are needed
from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Every other weekend is a requirement,
totaling 2 weekends per month. Requests for time off are limited to
5 days maximum, with no more than 2 consecutive days. No time off
is allowed on holidays, the day before, or the day after a holiday.
Time off is not permitted on weekends. Floating among departments
is a requirement to meet facility needs. All staff may be asked to
float within the Radiology and Pain departments. Hospital is a
Level 1 Trauma Center. Scrub color is navy blue. Charting is
performed using Cerner. Proof of vaccinations is required one week
prior to the start date. Boosters are not required. IL License is
necessary at the time of submission. Locals are accepted at a lower
rate, with a definition of local as residence within 75 miles of
the facility. All scheduling will comply with time-off policy, and
all staffing must follow the floating policy. If notified to float,
refusal may lead to cancellation of the assignment. Returning
resources must complete full recredentialing and attend orientation
