with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Rockford,
Illinois, 61103! Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Profession:

Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) Experience:
Minimum 2 years License: Active RN Licensure Certifications: BLS,
ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS Must-Have: Experience in
emergency care Description: We are looking for an experienced
Emergency Room Nurse for this position. We require an active RN
licensure in Illinois. Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and
either TNCC or TNS is mandatory. The schedule will be day shifts
with a weekend and holiday rotation. The nurse will utilize the
nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
in caring for patients. Responsibilities include administering
prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved
nursing techniques, policies and procedures, and standards of care.
Documentation will be done according to standards of care. The
nurse will perform assessments, planning, intervention, and
evaluation of care. They will develop, initiate, and execute
individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians and
clinic policy, including patient and family instruction.
Participation in department or unit performance improvement
activities is expected, which may include shared governance. The
nurse will utilize clinical expertise and provide guidance to other
departments in support of the patient’s longitudinal plan of care.
Critical thinking regarding patient safety and experience will be
essential, and issues must be escalated to the appropriate chain of
command. Participation in the professional nursing continuum
process, unit practice activities, decisions, and peer review
