Job Description:
American Medical Response (AMR) is seeking a dedicated and
skilled 911 Paramedic to join our team of professionals in
delivering timely, high-quality emergency medical services. As a
911 Paramedic with AMR, you will be pivotal in responding to
emergency calls, providing critical care, and ensuring safe patient
transport across various communities. This role requires a strong
commitment to patient care, the ability to make quick decisions
under pressure, and a comprehensive knowledge of medical procedures
and emergency treatment. Respond to emergency calls and provide
efficient and immediate care to the critically ill and injured.
Transport patients safely in an ambulance while continuing to
provide medical attention. Assess the condition of patients and
perform treatments such as administering medications, performing
intubations, and managing respiratory, cardiac, and trauma
emergencies. Utilize medical equipment and follow protocols to
maintain a high standard of patient care. Document patient care and
maintain accurate records of the treatment provided. Collaborate
with healthcare professionals and emergency response teams to
improve patient outcomes. Participate in continuous education and
training to enhance professional skills. Advanced knowledge of
emergency medical procedures and protocols Proficiency in using
medical equipment for emergency care Excellent judgment and
decision-making abilities Strong communication skills for effective
patient and team interactions Physical stamina to handle the
demands of the job, including lifting patients and equipment
