Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Neuro/Trauma Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM • Required to work every other weekend and holidays • Must have current Wisconsin nursing license, NIHSS certification, and CPR/BLS • May be required to float to other units as needed • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and Flu • Utilize nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members • Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved protocols • Document patient care according to standards of care • Develop and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians • Participate in department performance improvement activities and shared governance • Provide clinical expertise and guidance to support longitudinal patient care • Utilize critical thinking for patient safety and appropriately escalate concerns • Provide patient and family education as needed Facility: This healthcare facility is a comprehensive hospital and trauma center that provides specialized medical and surgical services including neurology and trauma care.
