Psychotherapist Position Position Overview: InnerVoice
Psychotherapy & Consultation is looking to hire a highly qualified,
trauma-informed therapist to join our growing group practice in
downtown Chicago and Skokie, IL. Therapist would provide counseling
to individuals, couples, and families. Special consideration will
be given to candidates who are trained in EMDR or interested in the
modality. Candidate must be independent, driven, collaborative, and
enhance our fun, connected, and positive minded group of
clinicians. Candidate will be employee status. Evening/In-Person
availability is required (Minimum 2 evenings). Part-time to
full-time employment is an option. Sign-on bonus to help support

Psychotherapist Requirements: Clinician must be fully licensed
(LMFT, LCPC, LCSW, Licensed Clinical Psychologist), Clinician would
start with a small caseload and gradually develop to full time
(approx. 25 treatment hours). Qualified LPC and LSW candidates will
also be considered with the goal of becoming fully licensed.
Therapists in the practice are encouraged to pursue their own
unique interests, populations, and specialties, but are all
required to have a dedication to and experience with treating
trauma. Therapists must be open to be trained in EMDR Therapy (Eye
Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) by the EMDR Institute and
actively use EMDR Therapy as a primary modality for treatment.
Therapists must be committed to clinical excellence which includes
exhibiting a strong desire for learning, growing, and deepening
their skills as a therapist by attending trainings, pursuing
certifications of interest, engaging in outside consultation if
needed, and maintaining other forms of professional development.
Therapists must be committed to creating community within the team.
There are various opportunities for engagement through supervision
and consultation and regular attendance is strongly encouraged.
Caseloads will start small with the opportunity to grow into full
time positions. Therapists may not work in other groups, private
practices, or outpatient settings, but may work in other
therapeutic settings that do not present a conflict of interest as
they build their caseload. Therapists are expected to complete
administrative tasks associated with their role each week. This
includes completing progress notes within 48 hours, logging their
time weekly for payroll, and updating their calendars each week.
Therapists must be punctual, organized, and detail oriented.
Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills
and strong interpersonal skills. Therapist must be able to work
independently on tasks assigned This position is perfect for you if
