Job Description:
PowerBack Rehabilitation, a leader in post-hospital care, is
seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist
to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our
patients’ rehabilitation process, providing expert care and
tailored therapies focusing on recovery from surgery, injury, or
illness. This position demands a high degree of specialization in
speech and communication disorders, aiming to help patients regain
their independence and improve their quality of life. Assess,
diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication,
cognitive-communication, and voice disorders. Design and implement
targeted treatment programs to help patients regain and enhance
their communication abilities. Work collaboratively with other
medical professionals to integrate speech therapy treatments with
overall patient care plans. Record, document, and maintain accurate
patient records including progress and treatment plans. Counsel and
educate patients and families regarding the treatment plans and
progress expecting proactive involvement. Strong understanding of
speech disorders and treatments Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work
effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary
team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Medical
