Cath Lab exclusive $10,000 Sign-on Bonus

The Carle BroMenn Cath Lab performs many exciting and innovative
procedures including but not limited to: diagnostic and
interventional cardiac procedures, electrophysiology, peripheral
vascular, neuro interventional, and interventional radiology
procedures. The Cath/IR RT produces quality imaging and assists the
Interventionalist in performing invasive procedures; as well as
technical hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation using automated
techniques. Providing care to meet patient needs and handle other
duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications
License/Certifications:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year - American Heart
Association (AHA); Registered in Radiography (R) - American
Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Basic Life Support
(BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA); Licensed
Radiologic Technologist - Radiography - Illinois Emergency
Management Agency (IEMA)
Education:
Associate's Degree: Radiologic Technology

Responsibilities
Administers contrast material (when applicable), according to
physician's request, by means of existing IV line or by performing
venipuncture and placing IV line; recognizes and responds to
hypersensitivity or allergic reactions.Anticipates set-up and needs
for invasive procedures.Assists with inventory/supplies.Checks for
correct patient and chart identification, diagnosis, and treatment
position.Compiles pertinent clinical information pertaining to lab,
pathology, etc.Administers medication in compliance with scope of
practice.Documents accurately and completely.Explains procedure to
patient and provides for patient care- including comfort, support,
safety, and confidentiality.Performs all essential functions of the
Invasive Lab Radiologic Technologist.Performs on call duties and/or
work variable shifts as assigned to meet department needs.Required
to float to all procedural areas.Maintains a clean and neat work
area.Demonstrates competence in the operation of imaging,
physiological monitoring, and related equipment; Performs basic
troubleshooting for this equipment.Able to work around and maintain
a sterile field during procedures. Administers and with holds
contrast and treatment as appropriate. Assess patients for
allergies. Function as a scrub and monitor technician on a rotating
basis during procedures. Assists physician during interventional
procedures. Able to take call after 6 months of orientation.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $31.37per hour -
$53.96per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum
range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The
actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a
variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's
experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts
