Responsibilities--- Coordinate PPAP level requirements and compliance to the PPAP process--- Propose and drive quality improvement plans for all suppliers and commodities--- Collaborate with purchasing, engineering, operations, and production quality personnel to analyze issues and support solutions--- Initiate and resolve corrective action requests through CAR process--- Continuously influence to improve supplier performance and optimize processes to ensure a constant supply of quality parts to production--- Evaluate existing suppliers' Quality Systems and Manufacturing Processes and influence manufacturing strategy. Identify risks and implement rigorous action plans to bring suppliers to company standardQualifications--- Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering or other related field--- 5 years minimum related experience--- Strong skills in project management, statistics, and problem analysis / resolution--- Knowledge of APQP, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), ISO, structured problem solving (8D, DMAIC, Six Sigma, KT, etc.), and auditing--- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%
