The RolePresidio has an exciting opportunity and is currently
looking to add a Team Lead, Commercial Lines Account Manager to our
dynamic team. This position supports the agency's EVP of Insurance
Operations and is responsible for managing the Commercial Lines
Account Managers.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAs a Team Lead, Commercial
Lines Account Manager, you will manage a reasonable book of
business. Your duties and responsibilities involve responding to
requests for information and documentation, handling renewals of
expiring policies, and assisting with audits. Not only will you
work as an Account Manager, but you will work to develop and coach
a team of Account Managers.
- Collaborates with EVP of Insurance Operations on the oversight
of the Commercial Lines Account Managers
- Executes management decisions and directives of the EVP of
Insurance Operations through supervision of the Commercial Lines
support staff
- Assists the President/CEO and EVP of Insurance Operations with
agency-wide projects
- First point of contact for Commercial Lines support staff
questions
- Coordination of and/or conducting new employee training
- Coordination of staff file reviews and corrective actions as
needed
- Managing a reasonable book of business while coaching other
members of the Commercial Lines team
- Ensure success of the department with a focus on employee
retention and efficiency
- Prepare applications, quotations, coverage
summaries/comparisons, general account transactions, proposals and
recommendations needed to ensure clients/prospects understanding
and adequacy of coverages
- Maintain all client files in the agency management system with
full policy detail and use the system for all transactions, notes,
and diaries
- Collect renewal data on assigned accounts, visiting clients if
necessary
- Review and order renewals according to agency procedures
- Survey policy coverages and identify cross-selling and
upgrading opportunities.
- Adhere to agency's policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience
- High School Education or GED is required
- Illinois Property & Casualty license and/or Life and Health
insurance license, preferred
- A Minimum of 8 years agency experience
- Prior managerial experience either direct or indirect
required
Technology Skills
- Applied Epic or similar agency management software experience,
preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Outlook)
Other Qualifications
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive
attitude
- High level of technical expertise in the account management of
a Commercial Lines Producer's book of business
- Ability to manage a team, provide coaching and feedback
- Demonstrating effective written and verbal communication skills
that include the ability to actively listen, and problem solve with
no or minimal assistance
- Exercising a high degree of attention to detail and commitment
to a high level of accuracy
- Able to work independently and enjoy a high degree of
interaction with team members
- Ability to contribute to a collaborative environment by
consistently demonstrating teamwork, high motivation, positive
behavior, and effort to achieve goals and objectives
- The ability to multitask, prioritize, and use discretion

Presidio operates on a "Hybrid" work from home schedule.
- You may work from home on Monday, Wednesday and Friday
- You will be required to work at the office on Tuesday and
Thursday.
- There are no plans to change this format or increase days at
the office.
