Position Summary The Recruiting Specialist is a key member of the Talent Acquisition team and is responsible for the full life cycle of recruiting, including developing and executing a broad-based sourcing strategy to ultimately deliver highly qualified and competent candidates to the selection process. Responsibilities and Duties
Develops and executes sourcing strategies to generate candidate flow to meet overall talent acquisition goals as well as pipelines for upcoming searches
Conducts extensive sourcing of passive candidates through research, relationship building, complex internet searches, and talent pool database searching
Maintains recruitment systems ensuring information is up-to-date for all open positions
Monitors trends and developments in sourcing tools and technologies and utilizes social media for sourcing and other marketing forums to drive traffic to our open opportunities
Collaborates and communicates effectively with hiring managers to gain a better understanding of required talent and provide insight as needed
Manages/updates candidates in various systems -online recruiting sources, applicant tracking system, databases, etc. and provides weekly activity reports
Stays current on sourcing best practices/trends
Builds recruiting capacity through recruiter network, direct sourcing, education and industry networking, employee referrals and job fairs
Manages relationships with recruiting vendors
Tracks and reports recruitment effectiveness via metrics
Focuses on continuously improving the recruiting processes to maximize efficiencies
Performs other administrative duties as assigned Qualifications: Direct experience with recruitment responsibilities.
Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills including office support software i.e., QuickBooks, Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Lightroom, etc.
Experience contacting individuals, companies, schools and other targeted recruiting areas.
Experience with recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Etc.
Proven excellence in developing positive professional relationships, interviewing candidates, and assessing candidates for effectiveness.
Knowledge of/experience in hospitality and/or audiovisual technology is a plus.
High School Diploma required.
Bachelor's Degree (preferred). Skills Required: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written-must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of internal and external contacts.
Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced team environment.
Confident personality and capable of being persistent when necessary.
Extremely detail-oriented and organized.
Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to work with all team members.
