Networks and Fixed Networks, as well as Alcatel Submarine Networks
business, currently reported under "Group Common." This business
group will respond to the ever-increasing demand for higher
capacity, greater reliability, faster speeds and lower costs.You
will be part of the Cloud Mobility Manager (CMM) within the NI
Division of Nokia. The CMM delivers a converged packet core
solution which addresses both evolution scenarios: 5G (AMF), 4G LTE
overlay today with 2G/3G consolidation, or 2G/3G renewal today with
future evolution to 4G LTE and 5G technology on the same platform.
The Cloud Mobility Manager (CMM) product combines the MME (4G LTE)
and SGSN (2G/3G) functions, paving the way for AMF (5G)
functionality.What you will learn and contribute toYou will be a
Senior Software Developer working, developing testing call
processing tools for the Cloud Mobility Manger (CMM).As part of our
team, you will: Participate in technical meetings with other
engineers to understand product requirements Analyze, estimate and
report your development tasks Develop support for new simulators
and new call flow scenarios for new features of the NOKIA's
SGSN/MME/AMF product Cloud Mobility Manager (CMM), based on telecom
specifications and feature test requirements Program in C++
(primary)/Tcl/Python languages the work assigned to you, providing
working code with high quality standards within release milestones
Cooperate with peers and technical experts from feature development
and feature testing to achieve the committed objectivesYour skills
and experienceYou have: A BS in Computer Science, Computer
Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or
equivalent degree At least 3 years of experience in software
developing using C++. Tcl/Python knowledge is preferred as well.
3GPP and protocol based development knowledge. Innovation skills
and are eager to learn state-of-the-art technologies Analytical
thinking, with problem-solving abilities and a can-do attitude
Excellent communication and teamwork skills Self-motivation and
ability to work independently by setting priorities in a
geographically distributed team Appreciation for working in an
inclusive environment, which appreciates diversity and embraces
high ethical standardsIt would be nice if you also had: Experience
with TCL scripting or any other scripting language (Python, Bash,
etc) Basic know-how on TCP/IP networking Experience in scripting
utilizing the Robot framework Experience with Cloud and/or
virtualization technologies such as OpenStack, VMware or KVM
Experience with Cloud Native technologies, Containers,
