We're a small team where everyone gets some ownership of projects and can support projects outside of their expertise to learn and grow.This is an entry-level position on our Technical Services Team designed to give a highly motivated problem solver the opportunity to contribute to software customer support and quality assurance testing needs for our customers. We are looking for someone eager to be mentored - this is a position that will help you master the skills necessary to move your career forward in a variety of areas such as technical services, enterprise software implementation, project management, consulting, sales, or data analytics. This is not an engineering, programming, or development role, though you will work closely with these groups, but we prefer candidates with strong technical skills in end-use computing and data management in applications such as Excel. -This full-time in-person (with flexible work-from-home days each week) position is based out of our Warrenville, Illinois office. Benefits include a base salary ($45-$50K), annual bonus potential, stock options, medical insurance, and generous vacation policy.COVID-19: All our offices went fully remote in March 2020. We grew during the pandemic and have added several positions with no layoffs. Our Warrenville, Illinois office is now open and following CDC protocols for those who prefer a dedicated workspace.What responsibilities you can expect:

  • Become a software solution expert on the ENFOS platform by mastering business concepts associated with project management, environmental data management, contract management, vendor rate management, financial management, business process management, reporting, business intelligence/data analytics (Power BI), regulatory compliance, and more.
  • Be proficient in our development ticketing process, procedures, and systems. We use Redmine.
  • Be a first responder to support tickets from customers, resolving issues, or escalating issues to upper-level ENFOS team members and engineering. We use Freshdesk.
  • Develop a business and technical understanding of each support ticket through analysis, debugging, and collaboration with engineers and the customer so that resolutions are obtained in a timely manner.
  • Document issues and subsequent resolutions.
  • Keep customers updated and informed on progress, workaround solutions, and resolution of issues.
  • Perform software testing and quality assurance for bug fixes, new features, and quarterly releases.
  • Work within a team environment and attend weekly web scrum retrospectives with other technical support staff, customer success agents, and software engineers.Requirements:
  • B.S., B.A., A.A., or A.S. degree (Business, Finance, Accounting, or Management Information Systems are a plus but not required)
  • 0-2 years of work/internship experience (this is an entry-level role)
  • Demonstrable evidence of teamwork and curiosity
  • Excel proficiency
  • Familiarity with web-based applications such as SharePoint, Smartsheet, Calendly, and Freshdesk
  • Strong oral and written communication skills (Slack and O365)
  • Self-starter with a natural affinity for highly detailed problem solving and ability to work with diverse customers---Benefits:
