The team youll be part of

As Nokias growth engine, the Cloud and Network Services (CNS) business group creates value for communication service providers and enterprise customers by leading the transition to cloud-native software and as-a-service delivery models. Our inclusive team of dreamers, doers and disruptors breaks boundaries and welcomes innovation.

The CNS communications team creates compelling communications content for business units including core networks, business applications, private wireless, SaaS, and services, as well as shared services such as the People organization and Technology organization. As the leader of this team you will work with executives across these business units as well as with other marketing executives.

You will be a member of the CNS marketing leadership team, report to the CNS VP, Marketing & Communications organization and lead a global team of individual contributions.

What you will learn and contribute to

You and your team will create content for internal communications (org updates, win announcements, culture surveys, career development, tech summits) as well as some external communications (blog posts, social media posts from business unit leaders) in alignment with marketing messaging.

Your internal communications will contribute to creating a compelling employer brand that motivates our employees with great success stories and employee profiles and ensure that key information is readily available to improve employee productivity and morale. Your external communications will inspire customers and other audiences with Nokia executives' thought leadership and motivate them to engage with us to capitalize on our industry's most exciting opportunities.

You are well organized and feel comfortable with the global and often complex topics, a large number of contacts and stakeholders, and analyzing data. Most of all you have a passion for achieving common business goals.

You will learn about groundbreaking topics that are changing our world (metaverse, 5G, sustainability) and continue your development as a communications leader with the support of the full organization.

As part of our team, you will:

+ Lead a global team of creative individual contributors

+ Design a strategic approach to communications that leverages the talents of the extended team and motivates employees and other audiences.

+ Analyze data to determine what communication methods and channels achieve the greatest impact

+ Plan, write, and edit communication content that is compelling, creative and logical

+ Collaborate closely with marketing, product and communications teams including senior executives

+ Join the CNS marketing leadership team with input into marketing and communications strategy, campaigns, budgets and people development initiatives

Your skills and experience

You have:

+ Native level English language skills------------

+ Degree in the areas of Communication or a related discipline such as Journalism, Humanities, and/or Marketing

+ 7 or more years of work experience related to internal communications, journalism or marketing

+ 5 or more years of line management experience with the ability to recruit, develop and lead teams to their full potential

+ Familiarity with the telecom and/or software industry

+ Excellent editing and writing skills with the ability to create ready-to-publish communication content

+ Ability to collaborate with technical and marketing teams and translate technical capabilities into statements of business value

+ Project management skills

+ Knowledge of graphics design, Adobe Suite, SharePoint, Yammer, MS Teams, MS O365 platforms
