Junior System Engineer & Help Desk Administrator - Managed Service Provider Location: -Naperville, IL / Salary: -$65,000-$80,000 Junior System Engineer & Help Desk Administrator - Managed Service Provider Junior System Engineer & Help Desk Administrator- Managed Service ProviderWe seek a Junior System Engineer & Help Desk Administrator- Managed Service Provider to join an MSP company that supports small-medium-sized businesses with their everyday technology needs. Primary responsibilities include visiting local client sites in the area to support project needs when it comes to TCP/IP, Active Directory, Office365, Exchange, WAN, and VLAN, Firewalls, VMWare, etc. The Junior System Engineer & Help Desk Administrator Managed Service Provider will also be responsible for the maintenance, installation, and integrity of the server components of the network to include systems backups.The Junior System Engineer & Help Desk Administrator - Managed Service Provider will be an excellent opportunity for an up-and-coming junior tech to gain exposure to emerging virtualization and cloud technologies and grow beyond essential desktop support. The Junior System Engineer & Help Desk Administrator- Managed Service Provider candidate will be joining a fast-growing industry-leading collocation, managed-to-host, and managed services company.Junior System Engineer & Help Desk Administrator- Managed Service Provider Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 2+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WORKING FOR A MANAGED SERVICE PROVIDER
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Troubleshooting and administering Microsoft infrastructure (O365, Active Directory, Group Policy, etc.)
  • Strong Knowledge in Networking, Windows OS's including XP, 7, 10, Server 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2, and 2016
  • Providing Onsite and Remote Assistance deploying technologies to client locations
  • Supporting PC's, printers, phones, conference room equipment and other end users
    equipment iOS and Android
  • Takes initiative and drives all aspects of technical support inquiries in order to meet
    customers' requirements and deliver superior client satisfaction.
  • Escalate customer issues through the proper channels and
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Maintain client security levels and confidentiality of information
  • Manage cases according to defined SLAs
  • Monitor trends from reported client cases to isolate possible chronic issues for
    software, workstation, server or network infrastructure
  • Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutionsJunior System Engineer & Help Desk Administrator- Managed Service Provider - MSP Salary / Benefits:
