Job Description:

The Utility Worker II (Dishwasher) is responsible for performing a number of kitchen activities including pot washing, dish washing and general cleaning duties. Assists with the proper cleaning and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, trash disposal areas, equipment, cookware, dishes, etc.--------------------Essential Functions Include the Following:Performs under the direction of supervisory personnel, dish and pot washing, general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies.Organizes, cleans and sanitizes the kitchen, dining areas, trash disposal areas, loading dock, elevators, dining storage areas, production equipment, and cookware according to schedule.Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.Empties trash containers as required.Sweep and scrub floors.Assists stock personnel with inventory, receiving, verification, stocking and tracking.May assist with meal service tasks as needed.To Qualify for this Position:Experience in a kitchen/food serving environment preferred.Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectivelyAbility to set up and operate dishwashing equipment.Regular and predictable attendance is essential for this position.JOB TITLE:--Utility Worker (Dishwashwer)DEPARTMENT:--Dining ServicesDIVISION:--Millstone RestaurantSTATUS:----Full-TimeSHIFT:--5 days a week; days/shifts may vary
