What you'll do on a typical day:
- Develop effective and efficient methods to meet customer needs;
serve as the primary customer contact on all new initiatives and/or
high-level critical issues
- Drive operational efficiencies to improve service and financial
- Conduct strategic account reviews with all assigned customers
to assess service needs and usage trends on a regular basis
- Execute individually assigned components of startup action
- Participate in developing integration plans to support client
and company initiatives
- Direct, develop, mentor and lead operational teams
- Establish and meet site objectives in the areas of financial
performance, safety, quality and customer service
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
- 7 years of logistics experience
- Experience in a managerial role
- Experience performing complex analyses of data, processes,
policies, procedures and/or systems
It'd be great if you also have:
- Bachelor's degree in Management or Logistics
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, which may include
weekends; travel up to 25% of the time
- The capacity to take calculated risks and make strategic,
results-oriented decisions while accepting responsibility for the
