Job Description:

As Digital Director - Industrial Sales and Service, you will partner with the executive leadership team, digital marketing and each business to create solutions and digital product roadmaps to deliver world class, data-driven marketing, sales and service solutions across the Industrial sector. You will also be responsible for leading, facilitating and managing all the corresponding programs which are aligned with our business objectives and achieve the desired business outcomes. You must effectively collaborate with business product owners and leaders, have experience working with multiple partner teams across geographies, and display leadership skills to rally high performing teams around a common goal. The successful candidate will have a passion for innovating, be comfortable with making game-time decisions and be motivated by a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

What You Will Do:

  • Be responsible for delivery, adoption and return on digital investment of solutions that create value for customers and/or internal efficiency

  • Propose & execute creative solutions including mobile & app solutions, IoT and embedded technologies that drive growth, optimize resources and operational efficiency

  • Partner with key stakeholders and business leaders to define product vision, strategy, roadmap and supporting metrics required to deliver and enhance digital products

  • Develop and implement a delivery organizational structure to create business value and support the digital products

  • Manage a diverse team and develops talent to grow capabilities in the organization

  • Coordinate and aligns targeted projects to business objectives

  • Effectively communicate digital strategy to senior field and business leaders

  • Partner with Finance and Product Owners to develop tracking system to identify trends and report business results related to all products

  • Lead cross functional and inter-departmental teams on large scale and/or complex projects

  • Manage interdependencies and risks between service providers, local, offshore, and external teams

  • Partner cross-functionally to establish & continually optimize the support strategy for the Field's digital toolset

  • Provide functional continuous improvement support for the businesses and at enterprise level

  • Ideate on and design future enhancements and innovations to our digital platforms that will enhance the field experience for the Industrial businesses

  • Continuously improve platforms and programs in order to create a world class experience and maximize impact

  • Effectively engage partner ecosystem to understand and influence relevant product roadmaps

  • Partner with Digital Architecture team to ensure standards are met, leverage among solutions, and efficiencies in solutions developed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related business areas (sales/marketing) with a progressive digital mindset

  • 8+ years of experience in product/program management

  • 5+ years of experience leading complex projects or programs and developing teams

  • Demonstrated ability to partner with key business stakeholders, understand complex problems, identify and recommend solutions and communicate to all levels of leadership and partners

  • Experience leading global stakeholders/partners through change, demonstrating innovation and adoption

  • Ability to collaborate and partner with all levels of an organization

  • Experience leveraging agile process management to deliver digital tools in a collaborative environment

  • Experience bringing in new capabilities to an organization and connecting to existing data or systems

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines

  • Experience with capital expenditure request and business case development

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate and manage projects and training

  • Demonstrated ability to partner with and effectively leverage external consultants to deliver business results

  • Demonstrated ability to translate a vision into the development and execution of strategy

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to influence and motivate teams

  • Strong technical and application development acumen

  • Financial and business acumen

  • Strong oral, written and presentation skills at all levels of an organization

  • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity and leadership

  • Results driven, service orientated, dependable and energetic

  • Excellent coaching, guiding and developmental skills; able to guide and allocate resources to achieve business objective

  • Strong problem solving, synthesizing, and analytical skills

  • Action oriented, self-starter who can delegate and be hands on as situations deem appropriate

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior sales, sales tools implementation experience

  • Change Management experience

  • Design thinking, user experience design, and other design frameworks

  • Experience designing and delivering effective field enablement programs for remote or distributed teams

  • Experience developing decentralized teams including a captive model

  • Experience with business solutions delivered on the Microsoft stack (Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure, PowerBI, SharePoint)

Location: Naperville, IL; open to St Paul, MN with travel to Naperville.
