The VP, Global Talent, Learning and Development is part of the Global Industrial talent solutions leadership team responsible for the leadership and management of global talent programs. This business partnership role will develop and deploy strategies, tools and practices to enable talent growth and readiness supporting our ability to attract, retain and grow the world's most capable talent.

What You Will Do

The primary purpose of this role is to drive strategic talent planning and associate readiness across the Industrial business globally. When successful, this role contributes to stronger talent pipelines, better talent development decisions, more effective talent processes, and more engaged high potential leaders. By partnering with our businesses globally, this leader is responsible for:

  • Enabling our business growth through enhancing the performance of every associate

  • Building and executing strategy and processes for talent assessment, high potential development, and succession planning globally

  • Leading a team of exceptional learning and development professionals to bring innovative learning products to our global associates

  • Driving an innovative approach to learning and development through product development, channel strategy, facilitation and assessment

  • Inspiring our Knowledge Management team to create the delivery roadmap and unlock the curated skills and knowledge of our global workforce

  • Partnering as an advisor to senior leaders and HRBPs to identify targeted solutions that address business-critical talent imperatives

  • Developing and deploying key talent analytics to measure progress, drive action, and inform decision making

  • Deploying consistent talent calibration and talent council practices across the divisions and regions

  • Advancing talent governance practices and drive integration and alignment across the divisions and the business globally

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required. Masters preferred.

  • 10 or more years of Human Resources (HR/OD/LD) experience including leadership roles in talent, training or human resources

  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategies into practices and actions that enable performance

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills; track record of effectively influencing all levels of leaders

  • Expertise in talent assessment, succession planning, development planning and talent analytics

  • Experience designing and implementing Talent Management initiatives for entire businesses, organizations or functions

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills with all levels of employees
