The Customer Service Representative will develop and maintain
positive customer relations and coordinates with various functions
within the company to ensure customer requests are handled
appropriately and in a timely manner. Primary point of contact for
SIMCO customers for scheduling and processing equipment for
calibration and/or repair service. Works on assignments that are
complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems
and making routine recommendations. Receives no instructions on
routine work, may determine methods and procedures on new
assignments. Purchases and expedites orders for repair parts,
outside services, and supplies necessary for the operation of the
Responsibilities and Duties
Serve as an enthusiastic ambassador of SIMCOs Mission in
Process customer complaints in the SIMCO online system.
Create, process, quote, and approve estimates for in house
troubleshooting and outside service.
Answer phones and effectively distribute messages to proper

Basic knowledge of computers and data entry.
Able to successfully multi-task and manage time efficiently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to train others in CSR functions.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Friendly, courteous, and professional.
AA Degree or equivalent.
At least 3-year Customer Service experience.
Requires sitting for extended periods of time. Must be capable
of lifting 45 lbs without assistance. Occasional standing and
bending are required as is repetitive computer work.
Work primarily in office, lab environment, and/or in shipping
and receiving area.
