Responsible for the management of a major department, function, or geography within theInformation Technology organization. Focuses on IT development, IT technology and/or ITbusiness systems analysis. Develops and executes IT strategies in support of businesscapabilities. Manages the development and establishment of department standards andprocedures. Directs and coordinates system analysis efforts to maintain and upgrade currentsystems. Manages hardware, software, and/or enterprise related technology.

 

  • Ability to design and implement solutions that are reliable, scalable, and perform at a high-level to meet the service levels associated with mission-critical solutions

  • 4+ years of strong Multiple Project Management experience

  • 4+ years of .NET software development experience, with deep understanding of n-tier object oriented architectures and design patterns like MVC

  • 4+ years of development experience within Microsoft Technologies, in C#, ASP.NET, AJAX, HTML, Angular and JavaScript Strong experience with Azure PAAS, IAAS and iPAAS

  • Strong hands-on programming experience in building Web 2.0 based web experience

  • Experience in .NET web services, or other application integration solutions

  • Solid understanding of Services-Oriented Architecture is a plus

  • Strong advocate of disciplined software development, including configuration management using TFS, issue tracking, estimation and Agile methodology

  • Solid understanding and experience with software installation, configuration and troubleshooting processes

  • Understanding of the release management and software development lifecycles

  • Strong skills and knowledge of relational database design and development using Microsoft SQL Server

  • Strong skills and knowledge of unstructured database technologies such as MongoDB, Azure Cosmos DB

  • Excellent in impact-analysis and root cause analysis

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with ability to anticipate and avoid problems

  • Ability to manage a team that includes offshore resources

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and an ability to communicate with internal customers

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently, as well as in an Agile development environment


  • University Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline plus generally eight years ofdirectly related experience. Some employee management or project managementexperience.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform management functions such as: managing staffperformance through development of performance standards, managing employeerelations issues, identifying training needs and planning to address those needs, planningstaffing levels, assisting in long range operational planning, recommending annualoperating goals and budgets, developing strategies to achieve goals, and maintainingbudget performance.
  • Detailed knowledge of the delivery of quality IT Services.
