At UL Identity Management &
Security (IMS) we aim to make the cyber world more secure. We work
with our customers to test, validate/verify, certify, and advise on
their functional security and nonfunctional cybersecurity of their
products, systems, and ecosystems. We make sure the security
functions of products and systems work as they should, and we help
customers test their connected technologies for hackability.
Through our creation of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, we
help our customers define and implement their security strategies.
highly visible role at UL, the Business Development Manager is a
key leader for UL’s cybersecurity business, focused on two
ecosystems, Smart Payment and Smart Home.
will intimately understand market needs and trends, demand drivers,
and advise the organization on:
- the market
segments we should focus on;
cybersecurity solutions we should develop;
partnerships that will help us better solve the problems our
clients are facing;
delivery requirements of the market;
- the best
sales channels for the market;
Business Development Manager Responsibilities are:
- Owns and
coordinates the execution of the company’s business plan for the
cybersecurity of the Smart Payment ecosystem, as well as the Smart
- Meets with
officers, senior management to maximize the coordination of BD
objectives, strategies and associated practices.

Provide external leadership through presentations and arranging
meetings with executives in key industries and markets.
- Works with
sales managers on developing commercial strategies and go-to-market
plans to generate the target profitable growth.
- Design a
successful Market Intelligence process for these two
other duties as directed.
Degree (Equivalent to Bachelor’s degree) in Engineering or a
related disciplines plus minimum 5 years related experience in
Smart Payment industry.
- MBA and/or
advanced technical degree (preferred)
creating and implementing business plans (Business Plan,
knowledge of cybersecurity (required), in particular in the Smart
Payment space (mandatory) and Smart Home space
payment industry experience required.
- Fluent in
