Responsible for keeping technical components of application modules
(built on Microsoft Azure platform) up to date with latest version
to ensure scalability and performance for current and future
business needs. Work closely with User Experience design team to
analyze, design and build innovative digital solution that meets
customer’s usability needs. Leverage REST APIs and web services to
develop application integrations with internal UL applications
(enterprise content management system and fulfillment applications)
to deliver one UL digital experience for customers. Work closely
with system architects to ensure item alignment with application
architectural roadmap. Implement recommended portal security
updates. Implement responsive website design themes, leveraging
front end frameworks, to improve website uniformity. Build dynamic,
interactive and high-performance webpages for critical applications
to improve customer satisfaction and productivity. Follow the SAFe
software development methodology, process to design, develop, test
and maintain portal application capabilities. Work closely with
Quality Assurance (QA) team to get the developed functionality
certified for the feature release to customers. Help with updating
supported regional language translations for the application portal
to help site navigations readable to regional customers.
Troubleshoot customer reported system bugs and system performance
issues, provide options and implement solutions. Manage and merge
the code base leveraging version control software and deploy
changes to higher environments.
position qualifies for UL LLC’s employee referral policy
degree in computer science or computer engineering and one (1) year
of experience in software development OR Bachelor’s
degree in computer science or computer engineering and four (4)
years of experience in software development
have work experience with each of the following: 1) AngularJS; 2)
RESTful Web API services; and 6) HTML and CSS.
UL has COVID-19 protocols and policies in place. Business related
