UL functional safety team is seeking a Functional Safety
Engineering Intern to join our growing team. We are seeking
an intern to start this fall, with the internship to end late
February. The intern would work closely with major
clients to develop and assure safety-critical electronics and the
safety of complex systems, in applications ranging from autonomous
vehicles to multi-core microprocessors to electric vehicle
powertrains. The position requires progress on multiple projects in
a fast-paced environment and is especially beneficial to job
seekers looking to understand and develop skills in engineering,
such as functional safety, cybersecurity, robotics, and autonomous
experts are sought after by automotive, semiconductor, robotic,
energy, and other industry experts worldwide as they develop
advanced safety-relevant systems. The engineering intern will work
with UL’s technical staff and established clients to develop
verified safe products, using leading-edge technologies and the
best available safety approaches.
